To provide a broad and balanced curriculum that supports the needs of all children, and to give our children the skills that enable them to become reflective, life long learners, and achieve levels of attainment in line with, or above the National Curriculum expectations.

To encourage children to become independent learners, and foster respect and tolerance of others, the environment, religious, and moral values, as well as relationships between children, parents, staff and the wider community.

January has seen the start of a new Head teacher to the school. Everyone has said a fond farewell to Mrs Stephanie Fiske who retired at Christmas, but we are looking forward to working with her again for Forest Schools starting on 18th January. Mrs Tamsin Austoni, Hollycombe's new Head teacher, has enjoyed meeting and working with the whole school community and is looking forward to working on a variety of projects throughout the year. At the moment, the whole school are working together to maintain excellent standards of behaviour and we are using the code of
BE RESPONSIBLE, BE SAFE & SHOW RESPECT to help us!
